In 2000 Strut Regas Cairns was started in a back shed in Cairns. Later the business opened its first retail shop in Newell Street and changed its name to Strut Technology. In 2017 we moved into a bigger shop 4 doors down at shop 3, 175 Newell St, Cairns.
Roger, Darrin and Mark have over 26 years of combined gas strut experience. As well as Gas Struts they are also very knowledgable in LED vehicle lights and transport
hardware including locks, hinges, rubber and tie downs.

Strut Technology is a local FNQ family business. We offer friendly old fashioned customer service.
As well as looking after the Cairns local area, every day we take calls and emails from customers all over FNQ. If one of our local couriers doesn’t go to your area we will drop off your order at the post office on the way home.
Some of the areas we regularly send orders to are: Mareeba, Atherton, Innisfail, Tully, Torres Strait, Mossman, Port Douglas, Weipa, Cooktown, Normanton, Karumba, Mt Molly, Herberton, Cape Flattery, Bamaga, Rocky Point, Cardwell, Misson Beach, Georgetown, Groote, Nhulunbuy, Borroloola, Arnhem, Darwin, Batchelor, Tolga and Ravenshoe.
As part of Strut Technology, we also have a side business called Kojin Laser. Kojin offers laser cutting and engraving of timber, acrylic, drinkware, leather, chopping boards and trophies.
Over the past few years we have worked with Rio Tinto, BAE Systems, Jacobs, Billys Coffee, Riviera Boats, Bridgestone, Raine and Horne, Sailaway, Carins Yacht Club and many other small to medium businesses.
